Adding Contacts
There are several ways to add contacts to Centra, from fast bulk imports to careful manual entry. Choose the one that fits how many contacts you’re adding and where they come from.
Bulk import (CSV)
The best option when you have many contacts at once.
Upload your file
Upload a CSV file containing your contacts.
Map each column
Match each column in your file to a Centra field (name, email, company, and so on) so the data lands in the right place.
Touch points
One of the fields you can map to is Touch points. A touch point is a planned outreach step — an email, a LinkedIn message, or a call — mapped to a contact. Mapping a column to touch points assigns your contacts into those outreach steps as they import, so they’re queued into your sequence right away.
Importing LinkedIn profile URLs
Bulk import also supports a list of LinkedIn profile URLs. Upload the URLs and Centra creates contacts from those profiles.
The exact behavior of LinkedIn URL bulk import is being confirmed — wording here may be refined.
One by one (manual)
Create a single contact using the default contact form. This is thorough but slow, so it’s best for occasional, one-off additions rather than large batches.
Chrome extension
Capture contacts directly while you browse — the fastest way to prospect from LinkedIn. See the Chrome Extension page for the full workflow.
